Job Scope

Within the defined territory: - To ensure all OMEGA Brand products are displayed at the relevant standard to maximise sales. - Ensure constant brand improvement within the point of sales (POS) by gaining more display space and improving the way products are displayed. - Monitor internet merchandising of the retailers' websites & social media channels. - Support the brand during marketing activities in the POS or related to the POS.

Key Responsibilities

According to the OMEGA guidelines, optimising the visual representation of the OMEGA brand both in the store and on the Internet. Provide creative solutions to achieve maximum exposure of the brand. Give the proper support during the SIS installation process (new installation and refurbishment) Display/Merchandising - Supply the agreed POS with the relevant display material (displays, SIS furniture, signage and clocks as well as all other relevant materials). - Implement in the POS the activities defined by Head Office marketing in order to maximise the visibility of the brand outside the POS as well as inside the POS in order to sustain the sell-out (gaining more space, bespoke merchandising activities, use the brand merchandising materials, use of OMEGA SIS). - Monitor every POS in terms of own OMEGA brand image, competition analysis and stock issues preventing an adequate display of the brand. - Monitor the image of OMEGA on each retailer's website. - Monitor the territory in order to highlight eventual non-authorized usage of the brand. - Use constant formal reports through data and pictures in order to inform the Head Office about the evolution of each POS. - Give the necessary guidelines to ensure that the correct display of the brand is maintained. - Actively participate in the creation and implementation of bespoke show windows, liaising with Head Office Marketing. - Monitoring the wear and tear of every OMEGA POS material. - Actively communicate with the local TAM to share the stock situation of each POS. - To develop and build relationships with retail staff - Presenting new product launches and collections at the retail level in line with marketing guidelines. - The management of ranges and stock in-store to ensure the proper rotation and the proper visibility to all lines of products. - Providing the necessary support at every stage of the process for installing SIS (new or refurbishment) by liaising with the retailer, the brand management, the local contractors and OMEGA HQ. - All visits to the retailer need to be made at a convenient time for the retailer. Product Knowledge - A full in-depth knowledge of all products must be developed and maintained. Planning - Responsibility for the detailed planning necessary to ensure the effective running of the active accounts and for maximising the effective hours of available merchandising time. Administration - Maintain informative up-to-date filing systems. - Fill in the requested report forms. Communication - To build a complete knowledge and understanding of all retailers within the territory, including sales performance, stock holding and competitor activity. - To build close working relationships with the Head of Marketing, Brand Manager, and all members of the OMEGA Brand teams to maximise opportunities and ensure regular communication regarding the situation of every retailer. - Feedback on market and competitor information consistently and regularly. - Highlight stock and product issues to relevant departments. Competitor Activity - Maximise OMEGA brand display opportunities versus the competition. - Ensure all relevant competitor activity and information is passed to Head Office. Promotional Activity - Support new store openings. - Attending customer evenings/events where appropriate.

Professional requirements

- Good self-motivational and excellent attention to detail. Proven creativity would be an asset. - You will have previous experience in a similar role within the retail sector. - You will need excellent communication skills at all levels to deal with your customer base. - Good IT knowledge. - Results and customer-oriented. - Negotiation skills - Flexible - Pro-active The position is field based and frequent travelling is expected.
